About Parlour

Two people, a lot of miles, and a shared love of board games.

Our story

We've been in a long-distance relationship for six years. Board games have always been one of our favourite ways to spend time together, so when we were apart, we went looking for ways to keep playing online.

What we found was frustrating. Some games barely worked. Others were buried under sign-ups or paywalls. And every game seemed to need its own website, its own account and its own link to send over — by the time we'd got a game going, half the evening was gone.

So we built Parlour: one place with all the games we love, where you can open a room, send a link and just play.

Made for couples, open to everyone

Parlour is built first and foremost for long-distance couples — an easy way to share an evening together when you can't be in the same room. Every game is made for two: you play in real time, see each other's moves the moment they happen, and can hop straight back in if your connection drops.

But it isn't only for couples. Friends, family, siblings in different cities — anyone who wants a game with someone they miss is welcome here.

Free, because fun shouldn't cost

We think playing a game with someone you care about shouldn't come with a price tag. Parlour is free to play — no accounts, no subscriptions and no games locked behind a paywall. Pick a game, share the link, and you're playing.

Say hello

We hope Parlour brings you a little closer to someone you love. If there's a game you'd like to see, or something isn't working quite right, we'd love to hear about it — just use the Feedback button at the top of any page.

With love, from both ends of the distance.
